A mass wedding of 100 couples was organized in Neli, the central city of Daikundi province, by the Khairkhwa Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).

This comes after 31 couples tied the knot in capital Kabul in a similar wedding ceremony.

According to Khairkhwa Foundation officials, the mass wedding was of youths who could not afford to finance their wedding ceremony.

The Foundation also promised to provide employment opportunities to the youths who tied the knot today.
